Beulah Mae Black, age 90, died Tuesday December 30, 2008,
at her home in Aurora, Colorado. She was born November 18, 1918 at Minneola, Kansas,
the daughter of Tom and Elma (Meade) Creamer. Beulah was a waitress at Arnold’s Restaurant when
they first moved to Ulysses. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting,
playing cards and visiting with family. Beulah married Leroy Black on November 20, 1936 at the
courthouse in Meade, Kansas. He preceded her in death in July
1979
Surviors
include two sons: Larry Black of Joplin, Missouri; and Ronald Black of Aurura,
Colorado; her grandchildren: Marlie Black and Lisha Black Rhoads both of
Stillwater, Oklahoma; great grandchildren: Keegan and Stephon Black of Colorado
Springs, Colorado; Kylie and Courtney Rhoads of Stillwater, Oklahoma; one
sister Geth (Bug) Gillett and brother Tom Creamer both of Dodge City, Kansas.
Beulah is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leroy Black, two brothers: Claude Creamer and Delbert Creamer; one sister
Lillian Sexton, and grandson Wendell Black.

Antonio Tony Sanchez, age 62, died Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Southwest Medical
Center in Liberal,
KS. He was born December 16, 1946, at Crystal City,
Texas. He attended High School in San
Antonio, Texas. He was raised by Ed and Alma Delgado, his
foster parents. On July 3,
1984, he married Pauline Garcia at Raton, New Mexico. He was a resident of Liberal for 35
years. He was the owner and operator of
Tony’s Auto Shop in Liberal.
He had 33 God-Children. He loved
the outdoors and enjoyed fishing. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic
Church.
He is survived by 5 Sons, Charlie
R. Montano and wife Patricia, Denver, CO; Michael Montano and wife Veloy,Colorado Springs, CO; Ruben Montano
and wife Shirley, Colorado Springs, CO; Robert Montano and wife Martha,Pueblo,
CO; Richard Montano, Denver, CO; 1 Daughter
Beatrice A. Martinez and husband Alex,Colorado Springs, CO; 20 Grandchildren,
31 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great Great-Grandchild He was preceded in death by his Foster
Parents.

Edward B. Todd, age 82, of Elkhart,
Kansas died Saturday January 3, 2009 at the Morton County
Hospital in Elkhart. He was born March 24, 1926 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Theron
Y. and Ethel V. (Pulliam) Todd. Edward graduated from Garden City High School
in 1944 and then served in the United States Merchant Marines in WWII. He
worked for the city of Elkhart
as the water superintendent until his retirement.
He is
survived by his wife Betty Todd of 62 years; one daughter: Yvonna McAfee and
husband Mark; one son: Tyler Todd and wife Julie; two grandchildren: Caroline
Todd and Alex Todd; one brother: Benny Todd; one sister: Helen Dickens. He is
preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Paul Todd.

Robert “Bob” T. Williams, age 72, of Gutherie,
Oklahoma, and formerly of Liberal, Kansas died on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Bob was born on December 6,
1936 in Muskogee,
OK to John T. and Josephine
(Thompson) Williams. Bob graduated from Haskell
High School, Haskell,
OK, and later from Oklahoma State
University with a
Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in 1962. He came to Liberal in January 1962 to
be the sports editor for the Southwest Daily Times. After 12 years, he left to
to become sports editor for the Amarillo Globe News. Six years later he
returned to the Southwest Daily Times sports desk where he worked until 1990.
While sports editor at the Times, Bob started a sports column called Take Five.
He continued to write Take Five, a humorous sports column published weekly in
the Liberal Light, until his death. After leaving Liberal, Bob was Managing
Editor at the Gutherie Daily Leader, a general manager and editor of the
Perkins Journal and also worked at Blackwell and Bristow, Oklahoma.
Bob was a member of the American Legion and the OSU Posse.
He is
survived by his best friend and companion Bonnie Long of Gutherie; two sons
Kirt D. Fryer and wife Jill of Tulsa, OK; and Monty H. Williams of Moore, OK; one brother Richard Tillman and wife Chris of Ponca City, OK;
three grandchildren, Dallas,
Amanda, and Braxton Williams; and three great-grandchildren. Bob is preceded in
death by his parents.

Miranda R. Hale, 24, Liberal, KS, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008
at Greensburg, KS of injuries sustained in a two car
accident. She was born March
22, 1984 in Liberal, KS, the daughter of Mike & Kathie St Aubyn
Hale. She graduated Liberal High School in 2002, playing basketball,
volleyball and softball, and Seward
County Community
College in 2004. She was a student at Emporia State University, with a major in Sociology with a minor in
Criminal Justice, she was to graduate in May 2009. While in SCCC,
she worked as a cook at Liberal Springs and at present was cook and assistant
manager at Applebee's in Emporia.
Miranda loved to scuba diving, for the past twelve years, she was a Dive
Master, she loved to ride horses and had ridden the Santa Fe Trail.She
was member of the First United Methodist Church, Liberal, KS; and PADI
Dive Master.
She is
survived by a son Kyler Donovan Hale; her parents, Mike & Kathie Hale,
Liberal, KS; a brother Justin Hale and wife Kelley, Topeka, KS; grandparents,
Toby & Daryl Hale, Liberal, KS; uncles, Tom St. Aubyn & James Patrick
Hale, Liberal, KS; many other family member and adoring friends. She was
preceded in death by her
grandparents Ralph & Hazel St. Aubyn, an uncle Mike St.
Aubyn.

Jeanne A. Radohl Hinkle, 85, Liberal, KS, died Wednesday,
December 31, 2008 at Wheatridge Park Care Center, Liberal, KS.She was born
October 28, 1923 at Clarion, Iowa, the daughter of Stephen J. & Viola M.
Banks West. She graduated high school at Clarion, IA, and attended Midland Radio
School in Kansas City, MO.
She was a radio & teletype operator for United Airlines, working in
Seattle/Portland, OR for four years, Almigordo, NM at Halloman AFB for General
Dynamics "Convair”, also worked for Hughes Aircraft-Teledyne Ryan in
Fairbanks AK, she retired in 1970 and moved to Liberal in 1981.She was a member
for the First United Methodist Church, VFW Auxiliary, Liberal, KS. She married
Virgil K. Radohl August 7,
1943 at Clarion, IA, he
died January 1, 1971. She
married Isaac M. Henkle on September
6, 1971, he died May 1978.
She is
survived by a daughter-in-law, Helen Radohl, Liberal, KS; three
granddaughters, Tami Radohl-Sigley and husband Matt, Shawnee,
KS; Lori Radohl, Liberal, KS; Mara Horner and husband Kevin, Eric,
CO; and four great-grandsons; one sister, Judy Morris, Kanawha, IA.She was
preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, a son Doug
Radohl February 14,1992.

Evelyn “Adie” Whiteley, age 75, died Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Southwest Medical
Center in Liberal, KS.
She was born on April 15,
1933, in Beaver County,
Oklahoma the daughter of Roy
Daniel and Stella Edna (Wyer) Leaming. She attended Liberal High School
and she was a longtime Liberal resident. On April 22, 1950, she married Roy Whiteley at Clayton, New
Mexico. He survives.She was
co-owner of Beaver Express and R & E Sales with her husband. She had worked
at the VFW for many years and was a homemaker.She was a member of the VFW
Auxiliary, AARP and she bowled with a traveling bowling team for many years.
She enjoyed being with her family.
Survivors include 1 Daughter Linda
Johnson and husband Larry, Liberal, KS; 1 Brother Ray Leaming, Liberal, KS;5
Grandchildren Stacy Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Angela Hernandez, Sabrina Stefan and

George Edward Hook, age 84, died Thursday, January
1, 2009 at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal, KS. He was born September
29, 1924, in Rural Texas
County, Oklahoma, the
son of Floyd and Helen (Meyers) Hook. He was a high school graduate of Eureka High
School, Baker, OK . He served in U.S. Army, 34th. and 88th. Infantry, 351st. Regiment,
Company “A” from 1944 – 1947. On December 30, 1946, he
married Maria Francesca Franz at Moggio,
Italy. She survives.He was a lifetime resident of in the Tyrone and
Liberal area.He worked as a Machinist at Beech Aircraft in Liberal.He was a
member of the Blue Devils Reunion Group and the Cimarron County Historical
Society.

Ethan Robert Rodenberg, age 4, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008 in Ulysses,
Kansas. He
was born January 7, 2004
in Ulysses, the son of Dustin and Ivy (Walker)
Rodenberg. Ethan was a Ulysses resident and attended Joyce pre-school. He
enjoyed riding his bike, climbing trees, playing in the dirt and getting dirty.
He loved to sing, looked forward to going to school each day and playing with
his best friends, Waylon James and his big brother.

Josephine C. Talbert, age 62, died Tuesday, December 30, 2008
at Northwest Texas
Hospital, Amarillo, Texas.
She was born September 29,
1946 in Clayton,
New Mexico the daughter of Pete
and Dora (Alvarez) Fernandez. Josephine attended school in Clayton, New Mexico.
She owned the Roadhouse Restaurant in Guymon,
Oklahoma for four years. She also
worked as a waitress in other restaurants in the area. She loved spending time
with her grandchildren and traveling to Cripple
Creek. Josephine married Richard “Dick” Talbert in 2002. He preceded
her in death on December
27, 2008.
Survivors
include her mother Dora Alvarez of Boise City, Oklahoma; two sons, Rick Coronado of Little Field, Texas,
and Anthony Aguilar of Sayer, Oklahoma; two
daughters, Christine Felton of Noble, Oklahoma,
and Matilda Aguilar of Elkhart,
Kansas; eleven grandchildren, and
five great-grandchildren. Josephine was preceded in death by her father; and
two sisters, Stella Sandavol and Shirley Harkins.

Richard “Dick” Wayne Talbert, age 57, died December 27, 2008, at Northwest Texas
Hospital, Amarillo, Texas.
He was born April 10, 1951
in Elkhart, Kansas the son of Henry and Lela
(Whisennand) Talbert. He attended Yarbrough
School, graduating in
1969. Dick excelled in basketball, football and track. He was active in 4-H
Club where he raised calves and showed them at the county fair. Always loving
livestock and riding horses, Dick also won many ribbons with his show horse,
Babe. From a very young age, Dick had a passion for farming and raising cattle.
He worked alongside his Dad and AC Thrash until graduating from high school
after which he attended Liberal
Junior College. Later, he
returned to working with his Dad for the remainder of his life. Dick was
extremely competitive and hard working. He loved playing practical jokes and
having a good time. Dick presented the image of being a very tough man but
inwardly was a sensitive, caring person. Dick married Josie Fernandez in 2002.
She survived at the time of his death but passed away on December 30, 2008.

City, Oklahoma; Tami and husband Robert Shearer of Mendon, Nebraska; Kelli and
husband David Carver of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and Arian Talbert of Eufaula,

step-daughter: Matilda and husband Jerry Winkler; step-son: Anthony Aguilar;
one brother: Lane Talbert of Keyes, Oklahoma; one sister: Sandra Kay Kersy of
El Paso, Texas; eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Dick was
preceded in death by his parents; one brother: James Lewis Talbert; and one
grandson: Cory Wayne Talbert.

Alfred E. Frost, age 72, of Meade,
Kansas, died early Monday morning, December
29, 2008, at the Lone Tree Retirement
Center, Meade, Kansas.
He was born September 15, 1936, at Wellington,
Kansas, the son of Charlie A. and
Berneata (Davis) Frost. As a young boy
he attended school in the Wellington
area. After his schooling, he began his
career as a carpenter and laborer. On March 6, 1956, he married Waunita Engle
at Newkirk, Oklahoma.
He was a resident of Meade, since November, 1999, moving from Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Alfred attended the Meade
Community Church
until his illness. He enjoyed fishing, camping, woodworking, and spending time
with family and friends.
He is
survived by: His wife, Waunita of Meade, Kansas; Two sons, Chris Frost and wife, Cindy of Meade,
Kansas; Jeff Frost of Meade, Kansas; A daughter, Rhonda Weston and husband,
Chuck of Meade, Kansas; Two brothers,Jimmie Frost of Wellington, Kansas; Alvin

OK, the son of Henry & Eva A.
Reel Amen. He grew up in Beaver
County and attended school at Greenough School. He was a lifetime farmer
and resident of Beaver County,breeding horses and a cattleman to present.Roy
was a member of the Bethel Church of God, Forgan, OK, servedon the Union School
Board, Tri-County Electric Board and telephone board, a charter member of the
Liberal Riding Club.On March 5, 1925, he married Lena M. Morris in Liberal, KS,
she died October 14, 1999.He is survived by one daughter Lois Harrison and
husband Lewis, Tyrone, OK; one brother, Darrel Amen and wife Neva Jane,
Pratt, KS; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Helen Brasca,
age 85, died Friday Dec. 26, 2008 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita, KS.
She was born August 26, 1923 in Brooklyn,
New York the daughter of Michael
and Anna Kissel Zukywich. She attended Richmond Hill High School
in Richmond Hill, in Queens, New York.
She has been a resident of Liberal for the past 21 years. She worked as a
temporary typist in numerous companies and for nine years worked as a typist
for Blue Cross of New York. On August 31, 1947, she married Frank Brasca in
Queens New York. He died Nov. 14, 2006.

Oklahoma at a young age and graduated from Mooreland High School in 1928. She attended
Phillips University in Oklahoma.She married Loren DeCamp, April 7, 1935 in
Liberal, Kansas.While Loren was serving in World War II, she and her mother
continued the operation of the DeCamp Confectionery located adjacent to Smith
Drug Store. The confectionery served the
airmen stationed at Liberal Army Air Field as well as the local citizens. Her later working career included Avon and
real estate sales.She was an active member of the First United
Methodist Church
and Beta Sigma Phi sorority for over 50 years.
She is survived
by her daughter, Joleen Rock, and husband, Tony, of Manhattan, Kansas.She was
preceded in death by her Husband, Loren A. DeCamp; two brothers, Harold
McElwain and Clifton McElwain; and two sisters, Rena Ludden and Verde Puttroff.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM,
Tuesday, December 30th at the First United Methodist Church,
Liberal, Kansas. Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery. Friends
may call at Miller Mortuary 8 AM to 8 PM Monday, December 29th. The family will receive friends at Miller Mortuary,

Everett Lee Rush, 85, died Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at Southwest Medical
Center, Liberal, KS. He was born November 9, 1923, at El Reno, OK,
the son of Lloyd R. and Geneva Rush. On November 15, 1942, he married
Leota Claudene McGrew, his childhood sweetheart. On January 9, 1943, Everett joined the Navy
to serve in World War II, suspending his high school education. After an
honorable discharge, he returned and earned his diploma in 1946. Everett began his
construction career in Guymon, OK before moving to Liberal, KS 47 years ago.
He built nearly 500 homes as a general contractor and constructed one of
Liberal’s largest commercial office buildings. Everett was a fixture in the community for
more than four decades, and he was an active member of Emmanuel Southern
Baptist Church.
He is survived by: one son—Terry
L. Rush and wife Josephine L., Liberal, KS; two brothers—J.D. Rush, Oklahoma City, OK, and
Jim Rush, Independence, KS.; two sisters—Mrs.
Kendall (Janice) Brown and Mrs. Byrum (Patsy)
Detamore both of El Reno, OK;
and one grandson—T. Erin Rush, Norman,
OK. He is preceded in death
by his wife, his parents, and two brothers—Bill Rush and Tommy Rush.

Lillie M. Schofield, age 76, of Ulysses, Kansas,
died December 27, 2008 at Bob Wilson Memorial
Hospital in Ulysses, Kansas. She was born December 12, 1932 at Lakin, Kansas,
the daughter of Guy Andrew and Mary Hattie (Wolff) Hayzlett. Lillie grew up in
Lakin and has lived in Ulysses since 1952. She was a dietician at Western
Prairie Care Home and Bob
Wilson Memorial
Hospital. She enjoyed
bowling, collecting dolls and loved pets. Lillie married Vernon H. Schofield on
August 20, 1951 in Lakin, Kansas. He survives.
Other survivors include two
daughters: Carolyn Spencer of Ulysses; and Brenda Neilson of Wichita;
one brother George Hayzlett of Tucson,
Arizona; six grandchildren and
ten great-grandchildren. Lillie is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter
Janet Marie Schofield, a grandson Jerimy Shelton, and a brother Julius Dean
Hayzlett.

Jonathan “J.D.” Scott, age 20, died Dec. 24, 2008 in rural Seward County
as a result of an auto accident. He was born July 20, 1988 in Liberal, KS the
son of Greg & Marie (Cardenas) Scott.He was a lifelong resident of the
Liberal area and graduated from Southwestern Heights in 2006.He played Kids Inc
football at age of 8 and played for the next 11 years. He was homecoming King
at Southwestern Heights his senior year. He was very
active at Southwestern
Heights playing football,
basketball, golf and track. He also participated in FFA, Kays
Club, Show Choir, Choir and Band. He received a football scholarship to Dodge City Community College and where he attended
college. He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family and friends. He
always enjoyed listening to music. He was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic
Church and the NRA. He was employed as a roughneck with Zenith Drilling and
worked as a farm hand for neighboring farmers.

C. Eldon Dunn, age
83, died Friday, December 19, 2008 at Morton
County Hospital
in Elkhart, Kansas. He was born June 8, 1925 at Abbyville, Kansas, the
son of Oral and Lena (Sims) Dunn. Eldon moved
to Richfield
with his family in 1927. He attended elementary school in Richfield,
graduated from Richfield High School, and attended Panhandle State A&M in Goodwell, Oklahoma.
Eldon was a farmer and stockman and also worked off-farm to support his family.
He was a road equipment operator for Morton
County, managed Cogburn Grain Elevator
in Richfield
and he retired as road supervisor from Morton County Road Department. Eldon
believed in community development and served on the Richfield and Rolla Boards
of Education for 25 years, was a member of the Morton County Grazing
Association, was a Cub Scout and 4-H club leader, he was a member of the
Richfield United Methodist Church and was active with the United Methodist
Men's organization. He was selected as a Home Front Hero in Morton County
in 2003 as part of the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibit, and was most recently
nominated by the Morton County Hospital Society as Pioneer Man of the Year.
Eldon enjoyed sports, puzzles, and "brain teasers." He especially
enjoyed watching his children, grandchildren, and great grandson participate in
sports programs. On November 23, 1949 he married Clara Elizabeth Grubb, she
survives.

Lone Wolf, OK; and Bonnie (Leonard) and Anna Brock of Lone Wolf, OK; Two
brothers, Howard Dunn and wife Mary Anna of Turpin, OK; and Don Dunn and wife

Ezra Clyde “E.C.” King, Jr., age 88,
died Friday, December 19, 2008 at Southwest Medical
Center in Liberal, KS. He
was born November 3, 1920 at Commerce, TX, the son of Ezra Clyde Sr. and Vashti
(Stokes) King. He attended Pampa
High School until 1938.
He served in the U. S. Army from May of 1944 – May of 1946 during World War II.
He was a self employed carpenter and lived in Liberal for the past 45
years. He was a member of the First Baptist
Church and the VFW Lane
Day Post No. 3166 of Liberal. On August 8, 1940, he married Geneva Lou Stephens
at Amarillo, TX.
She died on Dec. 26, 1995.
He is survived by 1 Son – Ezra

Ann Doris and husband Roy of Clovis, NM; Charlene King of Colo. Springs, CO;

Coral Bucher,
age 87, died December 17, 2008 at Morton
County Hospital
in Elkhart, Kansas. She was born March 14, 1921 on the
family farm north of Rolla,
Kansas, the daughter of Bob and
Gertie (Helfrich) Chambers. Coral, a lifelong Morton
County resident, attended Rolla
Schools and graduated from Rolla
High school in 1939. She
loved playing the drums and piano, she even traveled to Washington D.C.
with the Morton County Lions Band to play for John F. Kennedy’s Inauguration.
She also enjoyed painting, collecting dolls, and gardening. On May 20, 1939,
she married Earl Edelman in Hugoton,
Kansas. He preceded her in death.
On February 15, 1985 she married Ed Bucher in Las Cruses, New Mexico. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons,
Richard Edelman and wife Julie of Benson, Arizona; Tom Edelman of Rockaway
Beach, Missouri; stepdaughter, Janet Nelson and family of Las Vegas, Nevada;
stepson, John Bucher and family of Minneapolis, Minnesota; two sisters, Hope
Anderson and Mary Frances Light both of Rolla, Kansas; fifteen grandchildren;
19 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. Coral was preceded in death
by one husband, Earl Edelman; one son, Earl Robert Edelman; one daughter, Kathy
Edelman; and two great-grandchildren.

Charlotte Sessions Bahr, age 58, of Tetonia, Idaho,
and formerly of Liberal, Kansas, died November
29, 2008, in an automobile accident near Tetonia,
Idaho. Charlotte
was born April 15, 1950, in Idaho
Falls, Idaho, and was
the fifth of seven children born to Fay and Ruth Sessions. She graduated from Bonneville High School
in 1968 and graduated from Brigham
Young University
with a Bachelor of Education in 1972. She married her high school sweetheart,
Dean Bahr, in the Idaho Falls
Temple on August 13,
1971. Charlotte and Dean have lived in various locations around the U.S.,
including Tetonia, Idaho; Greeley Colorado; Logan, Utah; and Liberal, Kansas.
She taught elementary school in Ammon, Idaho, Tetonia, Idaho, Liberal, Kansas,
and Driggs, Idaho. She had a special knack for lifting up the underdog and
giving personal attention to those who needed it. She was a member of The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various positions,
including Stake and Ward Young Women, ward organist, Primary, Relief Society,
and was most recently called to serve in the Stake Primary Presidency. Charlotte loved horses,
quilting, grandchildren, and about any person she came across. Her musical
talents on the piano and organ were beyond description. She loved Dean and her
boys with all her heart.
She is survived by her husband,
Dean Bahr; her two sons Matthew (Bronwyn) Bahr and Bradley (Amber) Bahr; her
two special grandchildren, Cadence Ashley and Sayde Ruth; her sisters, Carol
(Bill) Manwill, Janie (Larry) Bird and Deena (Paul) Bodily; and her brothers,
Stanley (Linda) Sessions, Reid Sessions and Ronald (Francis) Sessions. She was
preceded in death by her parents, Fay and Ruth Sessions.
Funeral services were at 11 AM on
Thursday, December 4, 2008, at the Tetonia First Ward Chapel, with Bishop Brent
Robson conducting. Interment took place at the Cache Clawson
Cemetery under the

Agruelio M. Guerra, also known as AG, age 66, died December 16, 2008 at Bob Wilson
Memorial Hospital in Ulysses, Kansas. He was born January 13, 1942 at Karns City, Texas,
the son of Manuel and Eufrasia (Morin) Guerra. Agruello has been a resident of
Ulysses since 1962. He worked at Ulysses Irrigation Pipe and then retired as an
operator from Cities Service Gas, which is now Southern Star. Agruelio was a
faithful member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church. His hobbies included
watching baseball, softball, and he was a Dallas Cowboy's fan. He enjoyed
spending time with his grandchildren. Agruelio married Margaret Rodriquez in
September 1982 in Lakin, Kansas. She survives.
Other survivors include four daughters: Esmeralda Serrano of
Ulysses; Sandy Guerra of Haysville; Jessica Guerra of Ulysses; and Veronica
Guerra of Ft. Morgan, Colorado; one brother, Enrique Guerra of San Antonio,
Texas; three sisters: Fela Silva of Garciasville, Texas; Irma Meza of Ulysses;
and Soila Guaderrama of Ulysses; five grandchildren, and one great
granddaughter. Agruelio is preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Elias
Guerra and Alex Guerra; and one sister Lydia Herrera.
Vigil service will be held Friday, December 19, 2008 at 7:30 PM
and funeral mass will be held Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 10:00 AM both at
Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ulysses with Reverend Francis Khoi

Kenneth Leon Brewer, age 76, died on Monday, Dec. 15, 2008 at his residence
in Liberal.He was born on November 20, 1932, the son of John B. and Sylvia
Serena (Durham) Brewer at Ringwood, Oklahoma. He married Margaret Ann Scheel on April 4, 1953 at Alva, Oklahoma. She survives.
He had been a resident of Liberal for 45 years, moving from Anthony, KS.
He worked as a carpenter, with his father-in-law, and was a Maintenance Foreman
